Trenchless Pipeline Crossings

Abstract

Special care must be taken when pipelines are required to cross sensitive areas such as rivers and streams. This field is constantly changing with new innovations and developments creating game changing methods for crossing such areas to minimize environmental impacts and ensure integrity of pipeline systems - an element of building trust.

BlueFox’s session will provide an overview of trenchless construction methodologies. The presentation will highlight its history, the trenchless industry today, and explain the process during crossing project development. We will introduce new innovations, and industry developments which ultimately seek to minimize the impact of pipelines on watercourses.
