OPERATIONAL UPDATE  – KINDER MORGAN

Abstract

As part of its ongoing safety program, Kinder Morgan Canada Limited (KML) regularly maintains its pipeline right-of-way to protect the public, the environment and the pipeline system, and to comply with applicable regulations. A clear right-of-way with visible marking signage, free of tall-growing vegetation and obstructions provides access for staff and contractors to conduct pipeline maintenance, inspections, and emergency response. It also provides the public and those engaged in ground disturbance activities an early warning of the presence of underground infrastructure. Dan Carter will provide a detailed presentation on how safety is KML’s number one priority, and these important measures ensure that the pipeline system continues to operate safely and reliably for many years to come. He will also describe how Kinder Morgan works with landowners and local stakeholders to build trust and maintain important relationships with communities where we operate.
